Serving

I love our church.  As I have blogged before, we are so blessed to members of our church family.  Our church is a smaller church, but it is the perfect size.  It is a church where we serve alongside each other; young and old, we serve the Lord. 

This past weekend we went to an apartment complex in the area and shared God's love with the residents. I loved watching the men demonstrate their talent at the grill, gifted women making balloon animals and telling Bible stories, the youth helping with craft stations and a puppet show about the ABC's of salvation, and our kids joining in all of the activities.   

Lord, thank you so much for the opportunity to serve You.  May our children grow up knowing what an honor and joy it is to serve a living God.
