Bluebonnets and Blue Bell

Bluebonnets and Blue Bell...these are two things that swell a Texan's heart with pride.  We enjoyed both of these delights this past week.  As we traveled to Brenham, the vivid hues of our state flower clustered amongst the spring green grass.  Of course, we had to take some pictures.  We were careful, however, not to step on any of the delicate flowers.

Once we got to Brenham, our taste buds were tickled with the sweet flavors of Blue Bell ice cream. Growing up, Blue Bell was such a treat. We did not have it in my hometown for quite some time; thus, we were forced to wait to enjoy it until we visited our grandparents, who lived in the Dallas area. Now, it is a wonderful thing to have the factory right down the road.
