Summer Adventures

The heat has arrived and the humidity is fierce…it is summer in Texas. Instead of running from the elements, Christian and I have embraced it with as much gusto as we can muster. This entails mega doses of sun screen, numerous shorts and t-shirts, and an ample supply of water bottles and sippy cups. As Christian simply adores dogs of all sizes, I wondered if this love would transfer to all animals. The answer is an emphatic YES!!! We went to a local petting zoo a couple of weeks ago and he took the name literally…he wanted to pet every animal. As Christian patted the various animals, his grin would spread from ear to ear and he would promptly sign “more.” We had a wonderful day on the farm, complete with feeding the ducks, sheep and goats, “riding” our first horse, swinging high on the playground, and riding a train. Next time you see Christian, ask him what a cow says. On good days, he will respond “Mmmmmmm.” Happy Summer ~
