- You consider sleeping in three hour increments a luxury and a four hour block of sleep is truly something to write home about.
- Wash and wear is something you have truly embraced - from your hair to your clothes.
- You find yourself "bouncing" even when you are not holding a baby.
- You realize you are walking around with your child's spit-up or other bodily fluid on your clothes and you find yourself debating if you should change clothes.
- You choose your clothes based on "accessibility."
- You have come to the realization that an invitation to a family meal is mainly so you will bring the baby (but who can complain about a meal you do not have to cook?).
- An overnight or weekend trip entails packing at least three times the number of outfits as the number of days you will be gone - 2 outfits/day for the baby and 1-2 outfits/day for you.
- You look in your wallet and find gift cards to Babies R' Us, Target, and Starbucks.
- When making any plans, you automatically start doing calculations in three or four hour increments based on feeding and/or sleeping schedules.
- You wake up and go to sleep exhausted but everything is worth it when you see your baby smile.
Motherhood is great!
