Not to Worry

Sometimes I wonder if Christian is around me too much.  I mean, I really try to do “boy stuff” with him – we race cars and trucks, we play in puddles and mud, we jump off of everything, and do “rough and tumble” type things.  However, we also inevitably have to do “women’s work,” including: washing, grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning.   Tonight, Christian put my heart at ease.  As we were cooking dinner, he took it upon himself to peel and chop the garlic…with his SAW.  He saw it as a construction site; I saw it as simply making dinner.

Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to catch a glimpse of our daily activities through my son's eyes.
