P-Day

It is P-Day at the Banes’ household. Yep, we are tackling the next hurdle to becoming a big boy starting tomorrow…the potty! Christian has picked out his underwear (Mickey Mouse) and we have everything lined up. I have games, treats, a special movie, and new books. I have to admit I am a bit nervous. Not for the obvious reasons, though. I can handle cleaning up piddles (I have a dog). I am nervous about the power play that tends to arise when I broach the potty with Christian. Therefore, I have backed off for some time. But tomorrow, using a new technique, we will move forward in this venture and hopefully not look back. Please pray for both the trainer and the trainee!
